The five Banchou made an alliance to defeat Akira.
Five Dark Vows Arc[]
The Five Dark Vows invade Akira high school in an attempt to beat Akira. Ryougen was the first to find him and was seen beating up some student before Akira came in to stop him. Ryougen was happy to see him because he thinks he will be the first one to take his head. Akira tries to fight Ryougen but was interrupted by his underling Ryougen sent to fight him. After Akira defeated all the underlings and Ryougen started attacking Akira until the four other banchous made their appearance. They told Akira that they are the Five Dark Vows and they became allies with only one sole objective to defeat him. Akira started fighting the Five Dark Vows, but they proved to be too many for him to deal with, just when they were on the verge of finishing him off, the banchous that Akira had previously defeated, Kiriu, Yuu, Raionji, and Kobushi came to his aid to save him. The Five Dark Vows summoned all of their underlings to fight them but they all defeated with ease. The Five Dark Vows then decided to choose their opponents and held a fight in arenas of different levels and will tell them when.
